As a retired commercial airline pilot and test pilot, it is necessary for me to use my hands not only as a race car driver, but more importantly to build my own race car engines. My retirement and hobbies keep the economy going strong! It is reassuring to know that Mayo Clinic and Dr. Peter Amadio work with the team approach for their patients’ medical needs with patients like me who are aging and fighting off the “ill effects of aging.”

Thanks to the dedication and commitment of physicians like Dr. Peter Amadio, our health care system is developing incredible devices to improve the quality of people’s lives. We’re developing pharmaceuticals that alleviate the need for surgery. I personally have experienced the successful “carpal tunnel release” surgery that was necessary to relieve wrist pain and immobility, with a minimally invasive 12 minute procedure, performed by Dr. Amadio.

As a result of my successful surgery, I can sit here today, work on my inventions and put them to use on a race course that entertain children and adults.
