Thank you for your visiting the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS) online participation submission site.
Bone and joint health problems are among the most prevalent and debilitating health challenges that Americans face, both in human and economic terms. Orthopaedic surgeons consider it a privilege to help people regain mobility, go back to work, maintain independence, and get their lives back. With an aging population, the need for orthopaedic care is increasing significantly and will continue for years to come.
Our A Nation in Motion campaign shares the inspiring stories of patients throughout the country who are living well and thriving after orthopaedic treatment or surgery.
Here is how you can share your story!
I am a patient
What can you do now because of your orthopaedic care?
I am a provider
Healthcare providers can submit patients who are willing to share their story. Share online what patients are able to now that they couldn’t do before treatment or surgery.
I am a surgeon
Orthopaedic surgeons are caring, compassionate, dedicated and interesting people behind those scrubs. This is an opportunity for AAOS members to share their stories and help us to create a vivid portrait of the diversity of orthopaedics.
The AAOS sincerely thanks patients, healthcare providers, and orthopaedic surgeons for considering participation in this important effort. We are working to ensure all patients have access to needed care and the best care possible. Stories of patients and orthopaedic surgeons are a critical piece of this effort’s success. Moreover, patient successes are why each of us became surgeons in the first place. Thank you!
